Falafel Air Fryer Easy Recipe

This falafel air fryer is quick, simple, and has lots of flavor packed in. Fluffy inside with the right amount of crispy on the outside. Plant based, gluten free, dairy free, and nutrient dense yumminess

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients
  

Canned

  • 2 Cans Chickpeas
  • Almond flour

Produce

  • 6 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Red onion
  • 2 Fresh lemon juice from lemons

Seasoning

  • Sea Salt optional or very little
  • Sunshine seasoning Tabitha Brown
  • Smoke paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Cumin
  • Tumeric
  • Cilantro fresh if possible
  • Parsley fresh if possible
  • Nutritional yeast

Instructions
 

  • Add drained and dry chickpeas, onion, and garlic to food processor
    2 Cans Chickpeas, 1 Red onion, 6 Garlic cloves
  • Chop for about 30 secs
  • Add remaining ingredients except flour. Season to taste.
    2 Fresh lemon juice from lemons, Sea Salt, Sunshine seasoning, Smoke paprika, Garlic powder, Cumin, Tumeric, Parsley, Nutritional yeast, Cilantro
  • Chop and bend ingredients together until smooth
  • Add almond flour and mix to hold falafel together
  • Make into little balls and prep for fridge or freezer. Put in freezer for 10 minutes or fridge for 20 minutes to let falafel get firm.
  • Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 350 degrees
  • Add falafel balls and cook for 15-20 minutes depending on your air fryer. Flipping them half way to cook evenly
